ISF receives strong support from the Agricultural Science and Technology Research Institute (ATRI)

The International Snack Fair Taiwan (ISF) continues good relations with the Agricultural Science and Technology Research Institute (ATRI). This year, ATRI will organize a group of new agricultural and food industry exhibitors that will showcase the strengths of the Taiwan agriculture industry. With the goal to actively promote the high value of agricultural products, and help the industry and its owners to move forward bravely in the face of the adversity of the epidemic ATRI has selected ISF as the suitable candidate. In addition to assisting the industry in obtaining resources for production and manufacturing, ATRI helps related businesses in matching funds and partners, opening up channels, and actively keeping close contact with end-users.

To strengthen the commercialization and industrialization of agricultural research results, the Council of Agriculture (COA) completed the preparatory works and established Agricultural Technology Research Institute (ATRI) on January 1, 2014. The Department of Animal Technology Research Center, Department of Plant Technology Research Center, Department of Aquatic Technology Research Center, Business Promotion Center and Agricultural Policy Research Center are all under ATRI.

The companies invited by ATRI this year to exhibit at ISF are Xuyang Farm Company, Fulong Farming Management Co. Ltd, Yueta Agricultural Biotechnology Inc., Openmind International Co., Ltd, Lyu Yuan Pasture Co. Ltd. and PT Yongxin Co-op. These companies specialize in the research and development and production of certified organic products to promote healthy living.

Local produce such as mangos, pineapples, dragon fruits, roselle, bananas, lemons, and many more as the main ingredients for their products, these companies aim to introduce the strength of farms in Taiwan in producing fresh and high-quality products. Various production methods such as agricultural product processing (low-temperature drying), enhance the value of local agricultural products and promote the sale of special agricultural products. To strengthen food safety and improve product quality, their processing plants have obtained factory registration and passed ISO22000 and HACCP international food safety verifications. For the sake of the environment, many of them also adopt good farming practices. Including the development of fish Vegetable symbiosis and non-toxic farming methods to promote environmentally friendly and ecological farming.
