HIDEKAWA Domestic Soybean Products was established in 2015, it’s a quality food shop established by THE CAN social enterprise. It provides reentering the career, dropouts and teens with low learning achievements to implement employment, offers our community with opportunities in operating management, technical training and employment, our inclusive employment program has improved the lives of rehabilitated ex-offender, parents reentering the job market, dropouts and high-risk students, and partial revenues of the shops are given to Taiwan Sustainable City and Town Caring Association to become funds for community accompanying.

Guarding every detail carefully
We insist on supporting local farmers and using domestic soybeans. The market is filled with soybean products that consist of all kinds of chemical additives, so it is most difficult to make pure and healthy soybean products. HIDEKAWA checks every production detail carefully. We insist on screening and picking out soybeans manually to eliminate impurities from affecting the quality of our soy milk. We bathe cleaned soybeans in pure water overnight before grinding and steaming. During the process, no antifoaming agents or thickeners are added. After the concentration is tested to standard, it is filtered once by machine and once by hand to produce the Grade 10 soy milk that is the most natural and pure Taiwanese flavor.

Carefully selected 100% domestic pesticide-free soybeans cultivated under contract and naturally sun-dried bitterns from Zhou Nan Salt Field in Chiayi are used to make tofu and dried tofu. By insisting on not adding chemical antifoaming agent, no bleaching, and no dyeing, we offer you the most natural, pure and healthy ready-to-eat soybean products.
UAH-LIK Miso is made of the organic rice from Luoshan, Hualien; fermented purely and hand-made sincerely. The quality kouji(糀) strain from a Japanese miso store that is 300 years old, the organic rice from the friendly land of Luoshan, Hualien, and the domestic non-GMO soybeans cultivated naturally under contract are sealed in wooden barrels, which are hand-made by experienced masters of Sanxia, for the simple ingredients to ferment and ripen with time. The naturally fermented substances possess the activity of probiotics for presenting the unique flavor of natural fermentation so that you can ingest the energetic probiotics and rich nutrients.
